Bienvenue!

Hello everyone, and welcome to our wedding website! 🥰 We’ve chosen Villefranche as the location to get married, as it's a place that holds great meaning for Jacob and his family, and has also become a treasured spot for us as a couple (we make sure to visit at least once a year!)

In August ’23, Jacob proposed to Charlie during a stunning sunrise at Fort Du Mont Alban, offering breathtaking views of the beautiful bay of Villefranche—a moment we will forever cherish. We can’t wait to show you this area in the days leading up to our wedding.

Our ceremony will take place just outside Villefranche in the medieval village of Eze. Eze is truly unique, with its charming streets and spectacular views. We believe this setting will provide the perfect backdrop for the unforgettable memories we will create together. We’re so excited to celebrate with you all!

the lead up

Leading up to our wedding on Sunday 24th August we have lots of fun plans, which we would love everyone to be a part of should they wish to! Most of them will require pre payments for your share of the cost and then we will take care of it all on the day to keep it as simple as possible. We are currently finalising bookings so this page won't be available until the plan is in place. We will update you as soon as it is and you can then see what we have planned & RSVP to anything you'd like to come to!

FAQs

We will be making a WhatsApp group nearer the time to keep you all in the loop with the lead-up plans as well as other developments but here’s a few questions that we thought you may have now!

When does the fun start and when are you flying out?

We are flying out on Weds 20th August (9.15am BA from Heathrow). The first fun group plan will be that Wednesday evening but we know a few people are planning on coming out on the Thursday.

When does the fun end?

Most people are leaving after the wedding on Monday 25th (but those with sore heads may want to stay a bit longer). You need to checkout of your room by 11am.

When is the actual wedding?

The wedding itself is on Sunday 24th in the evening. You all have a room at Chateau Eza for the night so you do not need a hotel for this night. You can check in to the hotel from 3pm. Nearer the time we will provide more details.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please make sure you have RSVP’d to us by the end of 2024 - ideally sooner if possible!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The terrace where we will be holding the ceremony will be hot - so please be aware of this when you are choosing your outfit! We are pretty relaxed and men don’t need to wear ties unless they want to.

What will the food be like/can you cater to my dietary requirements?

The restaurant at Chateau Eza has 1 Michelin star. You can read more about it here - https://www.chateaueza.com/gastronomy.html They are aware of the dietary requirements of Anna, Jess, Helen & Katie. If anyone else has any dietary requirements that we should be aware of then please let us know!

If you have more questions
